Grand Piano Stock List August 2018
Made in London c1933. Baby grand (4ft 8ins) with rarely found Oak veneered casework and a good double repetition action not always found in these small grands from 1930s. We have had it in our workshops for about a month restoring the case and the insides and is now ready for a new home.
Made in England c1930s and rebuilt by us approximately 4 years ago. Fun and rewarding to play with its light responsive action and warm tone. Looks fabulous too in its creamy white casework, professionally done by Browns Wood Finishers of Letchworth. It is a tough durable sprayed gloss finish, not to be confused with ordinary paint and definitely NOT 'shabby chic'. Includes modern matching adjustable stool.
|Reduced Was £4250 Now £3950|
Model 157 in very good Walnut casework with modern high gloss finish. Made in the Young Chang factory in South Korea in c1990s. Fitted with genuine sustenuto 3rd pedal. Just been through the workshop were it has had a thorough service, regulation and several tunings. The action is now precise and responsive to even the lightest of touches, with power to spare in the bass and a crisp clean treble this is a superb instrument for the money. Looks fabulous too.
Made in Hamamatsu Japan c2012. Model RX1 in Black gloss casework. These are 5ft 5ins (164cm)long, which is plenty long enough to have a fabulous tone and dynamic range but still being small enough to fit into a room without taking over. At just 5 years old it is in immaculate condition and indistinguishable from my brand new models in the showroom. Fitted with the impressive Millennium III action which is a joy to play. The new equivalent model (GX1) is over £18000, very few come to the market secondhand whilst still so young, this is a rare opportunity to get a professional quality instrument at this price.
All prices include: VAT. Local delivery. First tuning and 1 year guarantee.
