Our affordable rental scheme is designed to give you a piano in your home, with all the usual costs of care and maintenance taken off your hands. † With a minimum rental period of just two months you won't be locked into any long-term commitment.
To get started, all you have to do is choose a piano and stool from our rental range. You will find all our rental pianos listed in the stock pages with their rental cost and purchase cost. Please check the website as the list of available pianos is updated regularly.
Once you have selected a piano in the shop, you will be asked to complete a rental agreement form and we will arrange a convenient delivery time.
Your chosen piano will be delivered at the pre-arranged time (usually on a Wednesday) when we will also make an appointment for the first tuning. This should be about 4 weeks after delivery to enable the piano to settle in its new environment.
The piano will be tuned every 6 months and serviced free of charge for as long you want to keep it. Then when you choose to finish, we will collect it free of charge.
The piano needs to be sited on the ground floor away from radiators or other sources of heat (including under floor heating) with no more than 3 steps in a row for access.
Your delivery address needs to be no more than 15 miles from the shop.
A delivery and set up fee of £100 applies to all upright pianos (£180 for small grands). Your first rental payment will be made one month after you have taken delivery of the piano. Payments will be made by standing order for as long as you want to rent the piano.
There is also the option to purchase. The piano may be purchased at any time for the original selling price less half the rental payments made, up to a maximum of 12 months of renting. (Therefore 6 months worth of rent is the maximum discount available). This discount could also be transferred to a different piano from our stock should you want to upgrade with no additional delivery charges.
Please call us if you have any queries about access for delivery or the positioning of a piano in your room.
