Danemann famously made a vast number of school pianos and many of us of a certain age will remember the large box shaped piano in the corner of many classrooms that we attended throughout the 60s, 70s, 80s & 90s.
Sadly many modern schools don’t make pianos a very high priority and they are not such a common sight these days but they can usually be found lurking in some of the lesser used rooms of a large schools music block.
However, Danemann also made some models for the domestic market and this is one of them, small and elegant by comparison their school model, but no less robust and hard working on the inside.
