Any use of this website or its contents including copying or storing in whole or in part other than for the users own personal use is prohibited without our permission.
  • We take great care to ensure all prices, measurements and descriptions quoted are correct.  However, we may make mistakes and we do not guarantee the accuracy of this websites content.
  • Because we are focused on keeping our customer base local to the Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire & Cambridgeshire area we would encourage all customers to visit our showroom whenever considering purchasing or renting a piano. It is important that you satisfy yourself that it is the right one for you. This will ensure there are no surprises on delivery day and you have satisfied yourself that it will fit in the space you have planned for it. If a piano has to be returned to the shop because it is too big to be delivered or not the desired colour or style etc. then we reserve the right to charge a fee for the cancellation of the sale. No fee will be charged if the sale is cancelled before the piano leaves our premises.
  • Pianos are very heavy and need to be handled with care to avoid damage or injury. Delivery personnel will need to access the space you have prepared for the piano without unnecessary risk of harm to themselves. Pets and young children should be kept clear of the piano whilst it is being delivered.
  • All prices include ground floor delivery within a 30 mile radius of our shop in Tilehouse Street Hitchin. Access must involve no more than 3 steps in a row with a maximum of 6 steps from the closest point we can safely leave the delivery vehicle.
  • We frequently deliver pianos outside our local area or via many flights of stairs but this is arranged through a specialist 3rd party firm who are happy to provide very competitive quotes for nationwide, ground floor or upstairs and international deliveries.
  • Pianos should be placed in a room as far away as possible from sources of heat e.g. radiators, underfloor heating, heating vents, direct sunshine, open fires, log burning stoves, cookers etc. They should also be kept in a room where the temperature and humidity are stable. Do not leave a piano in garages, conservatories, laundry areas etc.
  • All New pianos come with a 5 year guarantee which covers any structural defects caused by faulty manufacturing or materials, it does not cover tuning or normal wear and tear.
  • Most second-hand pianos come with a minimum 12 month guarantee.  However we may occasionally sell antique pianos which are over 100 years old and are sold as seen with any known problems highlighted at point of sale but sold as a decorative furniture item rather than as a musical instrument.
