This is the mid sized model from the RS range. It is a lovely instrument with a powerful tone that is also warm. The action is refined and plays with subtlety and finesse. This is a very similar size and specification to the ubiquitous Yamaha U1 but at half the price of a new U1 it is no surprise to me that these Ritmullers are one of our best sellers. The tone is softer than most of the Yamahas making the Ritmullers more suited a modern styled room where no carpets or curtains are present. These more open styles of room can look great but they are usually much more echoey where many pianos, not just Yamahas, can often sound harsh and difficult to play quietly.
