Sold by us new in 1988 when these were our best selling piano, out selling everything else because they are a lovely sounding instrument with a nice action but were much cheaper than their rivals.
However, they are not perfect. Their main weakness has always been the casework around the instrument, whatever they used as stain to colour the veneers was not very colour fast and always fades, even in a north facing room. Our polisher re-coloured this one about a year ago before it went out on rental to give it some richness back. It has since acquired a couple of minor scuffs but is still looking much better than the pale, uneven faded look that it used to have.
Still sounds very good and has a light, even action.
